Has Nicole Richie’s pregnancy made pal Paris Hilton broody? The hotel heiress says she wants kids by, like, next year.

The 26-year-old socialite says: “I just started working out and it feels great. It gives me so much energy. I want kids next year, so I’ve got to get my body ready.”


Hilton’s on the prowl for someone to father the children and says: “I used to care about looks, but I’ve grown out of that stage.”

Adding: “They have to be a good person, someone I know would be a good husband, loyal and funny and smart. And somebody I can trust, with good chemistry. But I don’t know, I like a guy who can make me laugh.”

Nicole Richie has served just 82 minutes in the Lynwood women’s facility in California.

The reality star/socialite was charged with misdemeanor DUI on July 27 and was sentenced to 36 months of summary probation.

If she violates the terms of her probation, she will be jailed for one year.

“At this time, the criteria for a female arrestee sentenced to 30-days or less for a non-violent offense is as follows: the arrestee is booked, screened and usually released within 12 hours,” the sheriff’s spokesman.

“This procedure is based on jail overcrowding to manage population levels mandated by Federal Court guidelines. Based on the mandated guidelines and Ms. Richie’s 96 hours sentence, she will be treated in the same manner as other inmates with a similar sentence.”

Pregnant socialite Nicole Richie is so keen to stay drug-free that she won’t even take painkillers while giving birth, according to reports.

The former heroin-addict, who has confessed to using marijuana and Vicodin, says she’s been drug-free since discovering she was expecting a baby in May because she wants to be a good role model for her child.

“[She] has been adamant about not putting any sort of drug or chemical into her body since she learned she was pregnant. Nicole has made her mistakes in the past, but she doesn’t want her child to suffer because of them,” a source close to Richie says.

“She’s has become incredibly strict about what she puts in her body. She wouldn’t dream of taking anything that might be bad for the baby.

“[She] realizes that she has an extremely addictive personality. She knows that if she allows herself to take even one pain pill, it might be a slippery slope for her.

“She’s hoping to go through childbirth without an epidural or any other painkillers. She feels if she can get through that without drugs, she can get through anything.”

Paris Hilton says her pal and Simple Life co-star Nicole Richie is going to be an amazing mom when she gives birth to her first child later this year.

“She’s really happy. I just got off the phone with her. She’s so excited,” the hotel heiress says.

“I know she’s going to be the best mom ever.”

She added Nicole and baby-daddy Good Charlotte’s Joel Madden are a great couple because they’re “really in love”.  Aww.

Paris Hilton and Nicole Richie’s time behind bars has provided the inspiration a new porn movie.

Paris served 23-days in jail for driving on a suspended license, while pregnant Richie has been sentenced to four days in jail after pleading guilty to the same charge.

The adult film, called Paris and Nicole Go to Jail, stars porn actresses Sindee Jennings and Aubrey Addams as the Simple Life stars.

The movie focuses on how “life is different on the inside, and at first [they] have trouble adapting, but [they] soon learn how to get things in prison by becoming friendly with the warden, the guards, and the inmates.”

Socialite Nicole Richie isn’t totally sure who the father of her baby is, a new reports has claimed.

National Enquirer magazine alleges Richie was sleeping with four different men at the time she found out she was expecting, including boyfriend Joel Madden, and any one of them could be the father.

“Nicole recently underwent a series of tests, including blood and urine screenings, which confirmed she is pregnant,” it quotes a source as saying.

It reports the Simple Life starlet won’t know who the dad is until paternity tests are carried out after the baby’s birth.

Meanwhile, Star magazine reports Joel is “doing everything he can to get Nicole to eat more, for herself and the baby.”

It’s reported Nicole checked into an outpatient treatment programme in May to help her gain weight, as well as stay off alcohol and drugs during her pregnancy.

Sexy sociates Paris Hilton and Nicole Richie’s reality TV show The Simple Life has been dropped from the E! network.

The programme was a hit with viewers and ran for five seasons, but the E! network made the decision to cancel it after the stars’ private lives started overshadowing their show.

“Viewers would see Paris all day long on the news about her going to jail, so they didn’t care about seeing her camping with kids. It just was too played out,” an E! network source says.

It’s just possible another network might pick up the show, but with the girls’ recent legal troubles it’s unlikely.

Nicole will serve four days in jail later this year.

Neither Richie nor Hilton have commented on The Simple Life’s cancellation.
